Summer relay – Heats 5 & 6
June 26 @ 8:15pm - 8:45pm
This summer we will once again be holding our annual fundraiser relay event. This year will be slightly different, the relay will this time be only half an hour and take place between 20:15 – 20:45.
There will be six teams and the event will be held over 3 club nights, with the final to be held on the third Club Gala night (Wednesday 3rd July). The races will be on Wednesday 19th June, Tuesday 25th June and Wednesday 26th June.
Each team will aim to complete as many lengths as possible within 30 minutes, with two teams racing per night. The top two teams will then race off in a one length relay race on the Club Gala night.
This event is to raise funds for the club, while there is no fee to enter we encourage everyone who takes part to raise some sponsorship money.
This event is open to all swimmers who train in the second and third sessions, as well as any parents who can swim too!
This is a fun event and all the money goes to the club, this ensures we can keep fees to a minimum.
Back in 2023 we had 90 swimmers / parents enter and raised £1,718 which was an excellent achievement and would love to better it this year.
